The Works of Skip Smith
This month's exhibit continues Joplin's Emancipation Day celebration by featuring the work of artist Skip Smith of Parsons, Kansas. Scenes of African-American life are depicted in finely detailed drawings and prints as well as more expressionistic paintings. Below are two images of works in the exhibit.
