Exhibit
The April exhibit features Antonia
Ferlo's advanced art students at Carl Junction High School. Each
artist has written an artist's statement describing how he or she feels
about the creative process. Featured artists include Jade Henning,
Kesondra Talarico, Felicia Bird, Zach Most, Olevia Opel, Sydney Dahlke,
Brandon Brown, Meagan Terry, Emily Fry, Lauren Larrabee, Ericka Campbell,
Emily Lowrey, Lauren Aton, Kayla Burns, Zach Edens, and Lindsey Rice.
According to Ferlo, the students have
focused on creating original, self-directed 2-D and 3-D works in a series,
as well as teacher-directed work in portrait drawing, watercolors,
printmaking and ceramics. The exhibit represents only a small sample of
their work.
