Joplin artist Kim Kissel, whose work has been exhibited all over the Midwest, uses her art to find solitude and calm in a disturbing and noisy world.  This exhibit features wheel-thrown as well as constructed pottery pieces displayed against contemplative paintings and soothing basketry shapes.  Kissel's work can also be viewed at the www.ozarkartistscolony.com.  Following are some images of her work on display at the Post Library.
