June 2007 Exhibit: 

Paintings by Amber Mintert.

This month's art exhibit features oil and watercolor paintings by Joplin artist Amber Mintert.  The artist, who teaches art at Webb City High School, works in a playfully enigmatic style.  She manages to imbue her paintings with magic, no matter what the subject matter--from fantasy (fairies in the closet) to the mundane (laundry and shoes).
