The Post Library is pleased to present the works of Carthage artist Ken Southwick, who works as a freelance graphic designer, computer illustrator, and animator.  He also paints watercolors and presents educational workshops.  The July exhibit features paintings of Ozark scenes and 18th century Spanish missions he visited in the U.S. Southwest.  Of special interest to younger viewers are some comic book characters Southwick created for Marvel Comics.  The display demonstrates the steps involved in creating the characters, from pencil sketches to computer illustration.   Southwick's works can also be seen at his website.
