September 2006 Photography Exhibit:
"Reflections" by Mark Schuster

Mark Schuster is a senior general studies major at MSSU who became a serious photographer after taking a photography class at Crowder College in the spring of 2002.  Schuster's true passion lies in photographic portraiture, through which he can capture fleeting moments as well as document the progression of time.  He considers the interactive process with his subjects as both a great honor and a great responsibility.  People always say that if their house was burning down, the one thing they would risk their lives to save would be their pictures.  Photographs not only show where they have been, but also provide a glimpse of where they might be going.  Schuster's "Reflections" exhibit represents encounters and experiences in his life during the last year.
